How we started
Monarch Roofing was started and is owned by Mike & Melanie Czerwonka of Middletown CT. Mike has been in roofing and residential building and remodeling for 36 years! Melanie has worked in customer service for 22 years. Together they ran a successful home remodeling company for 14 years (River Valley Remodeling). They did all sorts of projects from kitchens to decks, and additions. But they always had a strong presence in roofing repairs and replacements. As time went on and they did more and more roofing they decided to focus on just that. They could see that by focusing on one thing they could be much more efficient, and better serve their customers.
Being involved in youth sports with 3 young boys, Mike was one of the founders of The Middletown Monarchs youth baseball club. When he and Melanie decided to focus strictly on roofing they also decided on a name change to reflect that. What better than Monarch Roofing! Since the start Monarch roofing has focused on customer satisfaction, and quality. When we say "Go With The Crown, We'll Never Let You Down" we mean it. We stand behind everything we install.
Mike and Melanie reside in Middletown, and though their boys have grown older, they still support the Monarchs as well as Middletown Little League, Post 75 Legion Baseball and many other local youth programs.

What to expect
- Our customer service representative will assist you in setting up an appointment with a roofing specialist to accommodate your schedule.
- The specialist will call a few days before to confirm, and again when he’s on the way.
- The specialist will listen to all your concerns, and then do a full evaluation of your roof. Including pictures of any issues.
- Then you’ll be presented with solutions to your roofs issues, and written proposal. We’ll go over all of the easy finance options to make your project affordable.
- Once you approve the work, we will get it scheduled ASAP.
- We will pull all the required permits, and order the materials immediately.
- The day of installation our project manager and crew will arrive around 7 am.
- They will set up our heavy mesh tarps to protect your home.
- Use plywood to guard delicate features and plantings.
- Move any outdoor furniture or grills that are in the way.
- Clean up is ongoing throughout the project.
- Once the roof is done a final clean up will be done. We will use powerful rolling magnets to be sure no nails were missed.
- The dumpster will be removed from your property.
- Our office staff will register your warranty, and you will receive your manufacturer warranty and your Monarch labor warranty in the mail.
- Enjoy your trouble free roof, for the rest of your life!
